Invite Taylor Mali to perform his poem "The The Impotence of Proofreading" (read it here--although it's better in performance).
I ought to insert a [sic] into that title, but I would need a [sic] for every line of the poem (and sometimes several per line) and I can't [sic] that many [sic]s on poor Taylor's poem.
Wasn't that awesome? And hi, fellow AP reader!
ReplyDeleteYes it was!
ReplyDeleteI don't know about you, but I'm so exhausted at the end of the day that I can't put together more than two coherent sentences in a blog post.
We should have a blogger meetup...
We should! Are you at the Galt House?
ReplyDeleteI am indeed. We're going hiking Wednesday evening but could meet up any other day.
ReplyDeleteHah!
ReplyDeleteIt occurs to me that "Harvard, Jail, or Prison" are not necessarily mutually exclusive options, at least not if one inserts "Wall Street" into the sequence. Actually, "Harvard, Wall Street, Jail, Prison" should probably be a somewhat more common path than it is.
I think I'm fine with either Friday or Saturday, so let me know what works for you...
ReplyDeleteOkay: I'll be hanging out next to the birds in the Galt House skywalk around 9 p.m. Friday.
ReplyDeleteSee you then! (Me: long blonde hair, grey t-shirt.)
ReplyDeleteGreat! And I'll be wearing a floral shirt so loud you can hear it from Market Street.
