The banner with the slightly-less-strange device

In a poem by Longfellow, a speedy
Young man hoists a message we need. He
Embannered "Excelsior!"
But nobody tells ya
His name, now unknown as his deed. See,

When this blog like a banner unfurled
(Anonymously) to the world,
It called out "Excelsior!"
And the profile now tells ya
Who's calling. That mountain's been hurdled.
